The season for small game hunting runs from 1st May to 31 July. The estancia has organized small game hunting for many years with considerable success. We work with two professional Argentine guides who themselves have many many years experience in both big and small game hunting. The guides are happy to accommodate those with no experience if you want to try your hand. All hunting is done within a half hour trip from La Margarita. All areas for shooting are pre- booked. Permission in the area is for the shooting of hares and partridges which are plentiful and a good days shooting is pretty well guaranteed. The estancia organizes everything from picking you up from the airport to supply arms and ammunition. Pointer dogs are used who are very experienced in working in the area. Hunting is usually done in two groups and is each headed by one of our experienced guides. You will be lodged in the main house of Estancia La Margarita and all meals and wine are included in your price. All rooms have private bathrooms. A typical days hunting unusual starts at 8am when breakfast is served. We leave the house at 9am in combi vans to go to the fields. We usually have 3 hours shooting before breaking for lunch back at La Margarita. After lunch we head out again to the campo and normally stay until dusk.
