Volunteer Work on La Margarita
We often have need for a volunteer to work on La Margarita. The work can be varied and interesting and will include riding out with guests so you need to be a competent horse rider. You will also be required to be a go between for guest and staff when needed when our guests don’t speak Spanish and you will also be asked to attend to our guests needs sometimes – you therefore need to have a good command of Spanish and English and like meeting people. The work can also involve some painting, log chopping  and general maintenance depending on your skills and capability … along with other small jobs such as helping the chef in the kitchen at times.
We promise you will not be a slave at La Margarita. We want you to enjoy your time with us and if for instance your passion is horse riding believe me you will have plenty of time to ride out. If you need time to study rest assured you will have plenty of free time.  We are very relaxed here in La Margarita and I am sure you will be to once you arrive.

Before replying  please make sure you have read our conditions below:
You must have a reasonable command of English and Spanish
You must be able to stay with us for at least one month -if you don’t have one month to spare please don’t email us
You must be a competent horse rider
We normally only have one volunteer at a time . However, we can accept on occasions couples or  two friends . However, bear  in mind that the room for volunteers is small and if we accept a couple  the room will have two bunks beds.
